Patchwork Quilt 2011 Featured Artists
National Featured Artist

Meet Jackie Robinson…
Jackie Robinson
(her website:  www.animasquilts.com )

The National Featured Artist is Jackie Robinson of Eureka, Montana.  Visit her website - where you will find patterns and books for her quilts, table runners, tree skirts, etc. Look for the free downloadable patterns she offers each month.   Locally her patterns are available at Quiltmania (Richland) and Janean's Bernina (Pasco).

Jackie is best known for her geometric patterns creating new and expanded designs from traditional shapes.  She has taught and lectured internationally since 1989.
Jackie Robinson Quilts
Jackie opened her shop in St. Louis in 1982,then moved to Durango, Colorado in 1988 where she opened Animas Quilts and Animas Quilts Publishing.  In 1999 they closed Animas Quilts, but kept the publishing company which publishes Jackie's books and patterns.  They moved to Montana where they reside now.

             ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We will be continuing the WOW! Exhibit idea introduced in 2009,  so if you have made a quilt designed by Jackie Robinson, please let us know.  If you have not, you might want to start one.
