The guild meets twice monthly, serving working and stay-at-home members. Programs include learning new skills, slide presentations and lectures on quilting topics. Programs are presented by guild members and guest speakers. Tri-City Quilters' are located in southeast Washington along the Lewis & Clark Trail at the convergence of the Yakima, Snake and Columbia Rivers. Kennewick, Richland and Pasco are home to the majority of our members. Current membership is over 300 people. The guild was started in 1982 and provides education and fellowship through its meetings, workshops, quilters' retreat and special events. The guild promotes quilting through its programs at monthly meetings, workshop opportunities and its annual quilt show. The guild also gives back to the community by making and donating quilts to hospitals, clinics and Habitat for Humanity. Members have donated their time and services to schools, charities and individuals in need.
